Most tiny folding tables on the market feel like cheap, flimsy garden furniture. We went the complete opposite direction. We build this 2ft (61cm) square wooden trestle table to the exact same punishing industrial standards as our massive 8ft banqueting tables. It is a major asset for busy UK cafes, pub gardens, and event venues that need to squeeze extra seating or utility stations into tight corners without worrying about stability.
Instead of cheap plastic, the top is cut from a solid, 19.5mm piece of exterior-grade plywood, the thickest available in the industry. It gets four coats of protective varnish on the top surface and two underneath to stop drink spills or damp storage units from ruining the wood. We also wrap the entire edge in a thick, black PVC rubber bumper to protect the corners from splintering when you're loading it into vans or moving it around.
Underneath, the black powder-coated steel wishbone legs rely on heavy-duty locking mechanisms that keep the small frame completely stable and wobble-free. Because we use a bolt-through construction with flush rivets, the tabletop surface remains entirely smooth, preventing your premium table linens from catching or tearing. When your event wraps up, the legs fold flat into the frame for simple, space-saving stacking.
