Spanning a full 8ft (244cm) along the flat edge, this massive half-moon trestle caps off 8ft rectangular table runs to seat extra guests at the head of the room. It’s also a huge favourite for wide, wall-backed buffet lines that keep walkways open. Built with our thick 19.5mm plywood top and rock-solid steel wishbone legs, it handles heavy venue abuse, sets up fast, and folds flat.
When you are setting up large-scale galas, wedding receptions, or corporate conferences, ending your long rectangular table runs with a sharp, squared-off edge can leave the layout looking incomplete. That is where our 8ft (244cm) semi-circle wooden trestle table comes in. By attaching this half-moon piece to the ends of standard 8ft rectangular banqueting tables, you instantly create smooth, rounded "D-end" layouts that let you seat up to 6 to 8 additional guests while keeping aisleways completely clear.
Beyond capping off rectangular rows, this 8ft model works exceptionally well as a standalone fixture. Placed flat against a wall, it provides a massive curved footprint for presentation tables, registration hubs, or high-capacity buffet lines that would otherwise choke up room space if you used a full 8ft round table.
We build these to an industrial commercial standard so they can take years of continuous setup and teardown. The tabletop is cut from a single, solid piece of 19.5mm exterior-grade plywood, the thickest timber spec available in the industry. It features four coats of clear, protective varnish on top to handle drink spills and stains, plus two coats underneath to block dampness during long stretches in cold warehouse storage. The entire perimeter, both the straight and curved edges, is bound in heavy-duty black PVC rubber bumper edging, protecting the timber from splits when rolled or stacked.
Underneath, the black powder-coated steel wishbone legs feature industrial locking joints that eliminate table shake under heavy catering loads. Thanks to our bolt-through frame design with flush rivets, the table surface stays completely flat so formal linens won't catch or tear. When the event wraps up, the legs fold down completely flush into the underside frame for easy, space-saving stacking.
